Each session is simple: hausmates log on, cameras on or off (your call), mics muted so the vibe stays calm, and soft music playing in the background. Think of it like a group study date or café hangout — everyone doing their own thing but together. If you wish to chat with other hausmates or take a break, there will be breakout spaces where you can connect without disrupting the focus.

This all began one night when I wanted to journal but felt like I needed some company.
I’ve always loved “study dates” with friends — the quiet magic of sitting in a coffee shop together, each of us focused on our own thing, yet still connected. There’s something so grounding and motivating about being in that quiet space where others are creating, studying, or reflecting alongside you.
So, one night I posted on Threads inviting someone to join me on a FaceTime date — just me, my journal, and some lo-fi in the background. Way more people than I expected said they wanted the same thing. That’s when I realized: maybe this shouldn’t just be a one-time thing.
3rd Haus is that vibe made consistent — a cozy, virtual spot where you can bring whatever you’re working on, tune into soft music, and know you’re not alone while you do your thing.
